Do not use this watch's altimeter for measurements requiring pro-
fessional levels of accuracy.
Also bear in mind that the cabin pressure in an aeroplane is kept
constant. The altitude reading on your watch therefore does not
concur with the altitude readings of the aeroplane indicated on
display on by their captain.
To enter as precise a height of your location as possible, use the
height information from your map or indicated along the hiking path.
The atmospheric pressure
is the weight of the air
which applies at one
location. The higher the
altitude, the lower the
weight of air at this loca-
tion, i.e. the pressure at
higher altitudes is low.
