The altimeter display is ended automatically after 24 hours unless
stopped earlier. The watch then returns to Normal mode (watch
mode).
IMPORTANT
Your watch uses the difference in atmospheric pressure between
the relative atmospheric pressure (at sea level) and the current
atmospheric pressure (at your measuring point). As a result, the
altitude reading can vary at the same location if the atmospheric
pressure changes.
The pressure sensor used in the watch is also affected by the
temperature. When measuring the altitude, you should therefore
ensure that your watch is not exposed to any temperature fluctua-
tions.
To prevent such temperature fluctuations during measurements,
always wear the watch on your wrist with direct contact with your
skin.
