TCR  Adjustment procedure

Adjust Field Flicker with + an -, then use X to exit.

Adjust Field Flicker G

x  : Exit

Input number 3 to proceed to measurement of the LCD transmission curves.

TCR procedure V1.30

Step 3: Measurement of LCD transmission curves

Continue (C) or Skip (S)

Input (C)ontinue starts the LCD transmission curves measurement.

Now  

4 curves will be measured : red, green, blue and reduced green (green

video)

, each in 24 steps. (It is possible to skip each color if it was measured on a

previous run, when you type S at the start).

example: LCD transmission curve for Blue

Red (<return> to proceed, S to Skip, A for all)

Green (<return> to proceed, S to Skip)

Blue (<return> to proceed, S to Skip)

Reduced Green (<return> to proceed, S to Skip)

After the measurement, the results will be displayed in a graph. This graph shows

the S-shaped transmission curve, and a set of 8 

g

-correction curves. For red, green

and blue, the transmission curve has a pronounced S-shape. The last transmission

curve (green video) should have a bent appearance, already more like a gamma

curve.
