2. Installation requirements

2.1

Mechanical requirements of a suspended installation

Weight

Do not underestimate the weight of a complete NX

xed display. Be sure that the truss installation on which the NX

xed display has

to be installed is capable of handling

ve (5) times the complete load of the display. Note that one NX

xed tile weighs approximately

14 kg (or 72 kg per square meter display).

Truss beam

The truss beam has to be provided and installed by the customer because it varies from system to system. Although, the following
must be taken into account and must be precisely calculated on individual basis:

Weight tolerances

: Ensure that the truss beam and the ceiling against which the truss beam has to be installed, is able to

handle the complete weight of the NX

xed LED display.

•

Environmental conditions

: Humidity, draught, temperatures, etc.

•

Location

: Indoor, altitude, etc.

•

Ceiling stability.

•

Front clearances

: For optimal impact ensure that there is suf

cient free area in front of the NX

xed display and respect the

minimum viewing distance.

•

Local regulations regarding such installations

ARNING

A suspended installation is limited to a height of 50 NX

xed tiles.

Preparing a truss beam

For optimal use of the NX high precision frames and to obtain a high quality NX

xed LED display, the customer has to prepare a

truss beam based on the hole pattern of the assembled NX high precision frames.
