7.6.2 Diagnostics of the SPG
Diagnostics
If the lamp fails to ignite after you switched the projector from standby to operation, you can try to indicate the error by using the
table below.
Situation Solution
You can hear the SPG module three times clicking in an attempt to ignite
the lamp. The voltage on the “LAMP OUT” pins of the LPS module is
fi rst 140 volt during the attempt to ignite and then drops to 0 volt.
Note : The ambient noise must be low to hear the SPG clicking in an
attempt to ignite the lamp.
• The LPS and SPG seem the work normally but
the lamp is bad. Install another lamp house.
• If the problem remains, replace the SPG
module.

7.6.3 Removing the SPG
Necessary tools
• Torx screwdriver T10
• Nut spanner 10 mm
• Allen key 4 mm
How to remove the SPG?
1. Remove the rear cover (see concerning chapter)
2. Remove the fan outlet (see concerning procedure)
3. Remove the lamp (see concerning chapter)
4. Remove the four screws fi xing the lamp power cover

5. Remove the lamp power cover
6. Disconnect the lamp power cables on the LPS by removing the nuts
