2. In the
Main
tab page, click the
Advanced
button.
The Advanced dialog box appears.
3. Adjust the White Luminance slider to the desired
white luminance.
The white luminance is expressed in cd/m² or ft-L,
depending on the setting in the Units Preferences
dialog.
The selected white luminance is applied and calibrated
instantly and automatically.
Ambient Light Compensation
To switch Ambient Light Compensation (ALC) on/
off:
1. Click the
Settings
button.
2. In the
Main
tab page, click the
Advanced
button.
The Advanced dialog box appears.
3. To switch ALC on, check the
Enable Ambient Light
Compensation
check box.
Important
: When ALC is on, the display is not in
calibrated mode. Upon switching ALC off again, the
calibrated mode is restored automatically.
Ambient Light Compensation (ALC)
The display is equipped with an Ambient Light
Compensation (ALC) system.
When enabled, the ALC system automatically adapts the
display light output depending on the ambient light in
the room.
The ambient light is measured by the ALC sensor located
at the front of the display.
