• Remove the fl ue gas fl ap by lifting it up, pulling it forwards and taking it out.

7.6 REMOVING AND RETURNING THE HOLDER WITH THE PARTICULATE

FILTER, FLUE GAS FLAP AND RETARDANT

PLATE (BRAKE PLATE)

Before sweeping the chimney, the holder with the particulate ﬁ lter and the ﬂ ue gas ﬂ ap
must be removed.

Not removing the particulate ﬁ lter before

sweeping can result in damage to the ﬁ lter.
