4.6 B&R KCF Editor
The B&R KCF Editor
can
be used as a simple alternative to the B&R Key Editor. It
can
also be used to adapt
function keys and
LED
s to the
application software
. In contrast to the B&R Key Editor, operation does not take
place using a graphical representation of the
device
, but via a simple Windows dialog box. The B&R KCF Editor
can
therefore also be used for devices that are not yet supported in the B&R Key Editor. The B&R KCF Editor is a
"portable" application and
can
be started directly from a
USB
flash drive without installation on the target
device
,
for example. An installed ADI driver is required for the full range of functions.
