ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
•
It is advisable to make all connections with flexible electric wire.
•
The power lines must be distanced from the hot parts.
•
The burner can be installed exclusively in environments with pollu
-
tion degree 2 as specified in Standard EN 60204-1.
• Connect the devices, without option N or N1, to the power supply
respecting the phase-neutral polarity of the mains.
•
Make sure that the power line has frequency and voltage values
suitable for the burner.
•
The main line, the relevant switch with fuses and the possible limiter
must be suitable to support the maximum current absorbed by the
burner.
• The three-phase or single-phase power supply line must have a swi-
tch with fuses.
•
Makes sure the equipment earth terminal, the metal burner casing
and electrical system earthing are connected properly.
•
An omnipolar switch with a contact opening gap equal or above 3
mm is required for the mains supply connection, in accordance with
current safety regulations.
•
Avoid laying the detection cable along with the power cables or igni
-
tion cables.
•
The regulations further require a switch on the burner power supply
line, to be positioned outside the boiler room and easily accessible.
• Refer to the wiring diagram for electrical connections (line and ther-
mostats).
•
Remove the external insulating seal of the supply pipe necessary for
the connection, preventing the cable to touch metal parts.
•
Carefully check the cables before commissioning.
•
Incorrect wiring can damage the equipment and jeopardise system
safety.
•
This equipment has internal fuses, however, it must be protected by
means of at least one fuse on the line connection.
•
Use a shorter and straight ignition cable and lay it far from other
conductors to minimise radio interferences, (maximum length less
than 2 m and insulating voltage > 25 kV);
CAUTION / WARNINGS
Before performing maintenance works disconnect the power
supply and make sure it cannot be re-connected by accident.
The inverter remains hot for a few minutes, resulting in risk of
burns or injuries.
CAUTION / WARNINGS
Only professionally qualified personnel may open the burner
electrical switchboard.
