7.6.1 Input Mode
The function of the pin can be selected with Mode.
Value Meaning
Off The pin has no function.
Teach-In The pin works as a digital teach input.
En.Emitter The pin works as a digital input to enable
the transmit LED.
DisEmitter The pin works as a digital input to disable
the transmit LED.

The input can be configured with Type.

7.6.3 Power Mode
The power mode “High” should only be used if the high
power is really needed in order to avoid unnecessary high
current consumption and heating of the BAE. The modes
“Low” and “Extra Low” are mainly intended for transmitted
light barriers with short distance between transmitter and
receiver.
The LED pulse peak current depends on the speed mode:
