Preface
This instruction provides specific hardware installation, trou-
bleshooting, maintenance, repair and replacement procedures
information necessary for the IIOIC42 Operator Interface Con-
sole. This operator interface console is compatible with the
IIOIS42 Operator Interface Station and with the IIOIS41 Oper-
ator Interface Station. These stations must use G.3 software or
later.
This instruction should be used in conjunction with the hard-
ware manual for the appropriate IIOIS Operator Interface Sta-
tion. There are three additional instructions that explain how
to set up and use the OIC console and OIS station. The
instructions include:
File Utilities
Provides software load, upgrade and maintenance procedures,
as well as save and restore configuration procedures.
Operation
Gives a brief overview of the console and INFI 90
®
OPEN sys-
tem to familiarize the reader. It then explains the operations
that can be performed after configuring the OIS console.
Configuration
Gives the procedures to configure the OIS console as a system
for proper operation with its OIC console and peripherals and
the INFI 90 OPEN system. It also explains each function of the
OIS console, and gives configuration procedures and require-
ments.
