FACEPLATE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal

1.

Unplug or disconnect lathe from power source
and lock out power.

2. If installed, remove the spur center.

3. Hold the headstock spindle wheel (A) securely and

turn the faceplate (B) counterclockwise until it is
removed.

Installation

1.

Unplug or disconnect lathe from power source
and lock out power.

2. Thread faceplate (B) (turning clockwise) onto

spindle shaft until it is secure against the shoulder on the spindle shaft.
