Software Update
Flash Drive and USB Mouse required for this procedure. The file transfer protocol can also be
used using an ethernet connection with guidance / training from B-TEK.
1. Copy the file(s) from the location to the flash drive.
2. Plug in the flash drive to the DD1010 Skynet and the USB mouse
3. Move the mouse cursor down to the start button lower left-hand corner of the screen
(may be hidden until you get to the button)
4. Click [Start]
5. Move mouse over [Programs]
6. Click On [Task manager]
7. In the list find [ManagedFramework.exe] click on it, then right click.
8. Click on [Kill Process] (select Yes or Ok if prompt)
9. Click on [framework.exe] in the list, then right click.
10. Click on [Kill Process] (select Yes or Ok if prompt)
11. Close Task Manager
12. Double Click on [My Device]
13. Double Click on [Flash Disk]
14. Delete the [PUBLIC], [EXTERN] folders and [START.EXE] FILE if you have an updated
[START.EXE]. Select [YES] when prompted.
15. Close explorer view or press the folder with up arrow.
16. Double Click on [My Device]
17. Double Click on [USB HD]
18. Highlight and Right Click on the [Public (folder), Extern (folder), Start.exe] Files.
19. Select [Copy]
20. Close explorer view or press the folder with up arrow.
21. Double Click on [My Device]
22. Double Click on [Flash Disk]
23. Click on Edit (top of the window)
24. Click on Paste.
25. Close explorer view
26. Power down and reboot the indicator to run the Start program.
