Chime function/Impulse function
In order for the chime not to be permanently
activated in a shop, for example, the chime is
turned on by a short pulse lasting 1 sec.; this is
followed by a dead time of 9 sec. in which the
gong is not activated.
Hint:
In chime mode the programs ALARM, VACATION/
COMFORT and PARTY are locked.
In order to quit the chime mode the RESET key or any
of the time keys (15sec – 16 min) to be pressed.
Party function and Light off:
By pressing the party key the light can be
switched on and off irrespective of the brightness
value and of motions. The expensive installation
of a wall switch (On/Off automatic) is no more
needed.
Hint:
Because of the sabotage protection the function “Light
off” is deactivated in the factory. When required it
must be activated again.
Activation/deactivation of the Function “Light Off”:
1. Mains to be connected – a self test cycle of 60 sec
starts. The LED is flashing.
2. Activation/deactivation of the function “Light Off”
can be done only during the self testing cycle.
During the self testing cycle the button
of the
LUXOMAT
®
IR-RC remote control must be pressed.
The LED will flash quickly.
Function “Light Off” is activated now.
During the self testing cycle the button
RESET
of the
LUXOMAT
®
IR-RC remote control must be pressed.
The LED will flash slowly.
Function “Light Off” is deactivated now.
3. After the end of the self testing cycle the program-
ming can be set and be secured by the button
Operation of “Party” and “Light Off”
“Light off” is deactivated:
Pushing the button switches the light on for 12 hrs
permanently. (LED flashes slowly)
“Light off” activated :
First pressing the button switches on the permanent
light for 12 hrs.
Repeated pressing of
switches the light off.. on..
off, etc (LED flashes slowly in function ON or OFF.
Reset: Operation of the buttons
RESET
or during these
12 hrs will end the function “Party/Light Off”, i.e. the
LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus will switch automatically again.
Remark: As soon as the function “Chime/
Impulse” is activated, the function “Party/Light
Off” will be blocked.
Turning on and off the creep-under protection
PIR
Basic setting e.g. after RESET = PIR active.
If the LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus is installed above a
door, you can activate the 360° surround creep-under
protection and the inner security zone by pressing this
key.
Pressing again this key, the creep-under protection will
be switched on again.
Function/Walktest LED
LED
Basic setting e.g. after RESET = LED on
This function allows you to turn the walk test
display off and on, i.e. it no longer signals the detec-
tion of movement. This is sometimes required for safety
reasons.
The acknowledgement of a signal of an IR-RC signal
however will still be indicated.
Alarm
Alarm
Basic setting e.g. after RESET =Alarm off
Should the user want the alarm strikingly to be
visible to the connected world, this program function
permits flashing of the connected lights for a period
of 30 sec. upon detection of movement. After that,
the system switches back to permanent light for the
remaining time of the set value.
To quit the alarm mode the alarm key of the RESET
key to be pressed.
Vacation and comfort function

In this function the LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus switches
on the connected light automatically, as soon
as the preadjusted light level is achieved at night. This
is independent of motions.
After the end of this permanent light period the
LUXOMAT
®
switches back automatically into the
stand by mode.
The duration of the on-period can be adjusted::
1. LUXOMAT

RC-plus to be unlocked with the button
2. The button

to be operated. The LED flashes
for 10 sec.
During these 10 seconds the duration of the light-on
period can be selected:

In order to end the mode “Vacancy/Comfort”,
in the unlocked mode the button
