Install EtroScan on a Windows PC

EtroScan™ is a utility is used to configure network
settings for cameras & video servers. EtroScan™ is
available on the CD-ROM or can be downloaded at
http://www.etrovision.com/Support/

Run Setup.exe to install EtroScan.
Basic Physical Installation
Please review the steps before starting. The steps outlined
below are the suggested installation path, but certain steps
may need to be switched depending on the installation
environment.
The camera’s electrical specification is one of the following:

90-240Vac
-
24Vac
The camera’s electrical specification can be found on the
product label on the box or on the power supply inside the
camera case.
Hex key, screws, anchors, etc can be found in a package
contained within the bracket arm.
A 2

package containing washers, rubber pad, etc are not
used.
1.
Unscrew the bolts to open the case.
2.
Unscrew the bolt to disassemble the bracket arm joint.
Feed cables (e.g. network, DI/DO) through the arm.
Reassemble the arm when complete.
3.
Insert cables into the bottom of the case through the
rubber protective covering.
4.
Connect cables to board; DI/DO has separate cable.
5.
Connect the bracket arm to the camera case.
6.
Mount camera to the wall (or other point) using the
screws & anchors.
7.
Connect the power cable to the main power. The
green/yellow cable is the ground; brown & blue are
power.
WARNING
: Disconnect power before opening the
camera to avoid electrical accidents.
8.
To adjust the lens, unscrew the 2 bolts securing the
camera lens bracket and slide back to make lens
controls easily accessible.
