2.9.3. JP6: CPU FSB Clock
Type: 2 pin
Default: Open
This allows you to select the speed of your CPU. If you are using a 200 MHz
CPU (with a 100 MHz FSB) on your mainboard then you need to SHORT JP6. If
you are using a 266 MHz CPU (with a 133 MHz FSB) you need to OPEN JP6.
2.9.4. JP8: Clear CMOS Memory
Type: 3 pin
Default: Pin 1 and Pin 2 Short
If you have made an improper setting in the BIOS setup and your computer is
not functioning, or if you have forgotten your password, you can use this
jumper, JP8, to clear the CMOS memory and to reconfigure your system.
To clear the CMOS, please follow these instructions:
1.
Turn the system power “OFF” and “unplug your computer”.
2.
Insert the jumper cap on Pin 2 and Pin 3 for 3 ~ 5 seconds.
3.
Pull out the jumper cap and replace it on Pin 1 and Pin 2.
5. Turn your PC on and run the BIOS setup program
