DMOC445 Manual and Operating Instructions

9. Grounding and Shielding

One of the more important factors in the design and maintenance of vehicle electric traction system is
proper shielding and grounding. Inadequate shielding or grounding can lead to unreliable operation of
systems, such as EMI, electrostatic discharge damage to sensitive electronics and personnel shock
hazard. Perform all grounding and shielding connections as shown on the following diagram.
