CHANGING THE BLADE SPEED

DISCONNECT THE SAW FROM
THE MAINS SUPPLY!

The bandsaw drive pulley has two speed positions,
see fig 80. To change the speed to either 390 or
840m/minute, follow the instructions below.

Open the upper and lower doors, see fig 76. Release
the tension on the drive belt by loosening the motor
locking handle and pulling up the motor until the belt is
loose, see figs 77-78.

With the drive belt tension removed, very carefully
reposition the drive belt, see fig 79.

NOTE:

Make sure

the belt is seated correctly in one of the drive pulley
grooves.

Push the motor down to re-tension the belt
