A714 Owner’s Guide

April 1998

Select Bar Code Check Character

Note:

This command is not supported by the Axiohm A714 printer and is ignored.

Extended command. Selects bar code check character. This command generates and

prints the bar code check character when

= 1. If

= 0, the check character is not

generated and must be sent with the command string for those bar codes that require a

check character. If a bar code has a set number of characters, the number of characters

sent will determine if the check character is calculated.
