A714 Owner’s Guide

Set Printing Area Width

Note:

This command is not supported by the Axiohm A714 printer and is ignored.

Sets the printing area width to [((

x 256) +

) x horizontal motion units] inches. This

command is valid only when entered at the start of a line in standard mode.

If the printing area width is not sufficient to print a single character, the area is expanded

to the right when possible to allow printing of a single character. If it is not possible to

expand the printing area to the right, then the left margin is reduced to the amount

needed to allow printing of a single character.
