3.6 Status, error and failure response
Additionally, and for particular reasons, the sensor also can send special packets with regard to sensor
errors (E) or sensor failures (F). During the measurement cycles it can transmit separate error or failure
packets. Both do not contain any further data.

The
Failure
-packet contains error codes that require manufacturer-assisted maintenance of the sensor.
While working with the Axetris Customer Frontend, the sensor sends additional status
information packets (
{D…} ). The D-packets are for internal use only and can only be
monitored while working with the Axetris Customer Frontend (they can be ignored by the
customer in standard sensor operation). When quitting the Axetris Customer Frontend to work
with the LGD Sensor Communication Protocol, the sensor stops sending D-packets.
