GREASE POINTS

To keep moving parts sliding or rotating smoothly, coat them with water-
resistant grease (Yamaha Marine Grease, YAMAHA Grease A) or equivalent.
•
Throttle & Choke Cable
1.
Grease the carburettor throttle
cable and choke cable inner
wires.
2.
Pull out the choke knob and
apply a thin film of grease to
the choke knob shaft.
•
Steering cable Clevis and Inner Wire
1.
Greasing the steering cable
clevis on the steering nozzle
end.
2.
Extend the steering cable inner
wire, and apply a thin coat of
grease to both on the
handlebar and on the steering
nozzle side.
