Examples
To lock outlets 1, 2 and 6, enter:
name
The name command lists the outlet number <outlet#> as name <name>. The name command is
limited to 16 characters, cannot start with a number and commas (,) are not allowed. This command
is available to the administrator user only.

To name outlet 4 as nowhere, enter:
off
The off command turns an outlet or group of outlets off. This command works on outlets in a PM
IPDU daisy chain.
Syntax
off all|<outlet_string>
Arguments
CAUTION: The “all” argument will turn off all outlets in a PM IPDU or PM IPDU daisy chain.
pm> lock 1,2,6
<outlet number>
Outlet number, such as “5”
<name> Desired outlet name
pm> name 4 nowhere
all Turns off all outlets in the PM IPDU or PM IPDU daisy chain
<outlet_string> Outlet number, such as “5”, outlet name such as “sunfire”, or group of
outlets such as “1, 3-5”
