Chapter 3: Accessing the PM IPDU via the Command Line Interface

hwocp
The hwocp command without argument checks the status of the hardware overcurrent protection.
When an overload of the PM IPDU with hwocp occurs, the hwocp will trip, similar to a
conventional circuit breaker, and all outlets will be shut off. To reset the hwocp, remove the
overload and issue the hwocp command with the “reset” argument. If no IPDU is specified, the
“reset” argument resets all PM IPDUs in the daisy chain. This command is available to the admin
user only.
