Settings for Telephony Devices
Telephony equipment like telephones, faxes and answer-
ing machines can be connected to the FRITZ!Box. The “Con-
figure Telephony Devices” Wizard can assist you in config-
uring the necessary settings for all telephony devices.

Telephone

kind of connection used to connect the telephone
with the FRITZ!Box

internal name for the telephone

number used to conduct outgoing calls: With this
entry you specify whether outgoing calls should
be conducted via the Internet or the fixed-line net-
work.

Call acceptance: Specify here whether the tele-
phone should react to all calls or only to calls for
certain telephone numbers.
Fax machine

Kind of connection used to connect the fax
machine with the FRITZ!Box

Number used to send faxes: This entry defines
whether outgoing faxes are sent via the Internet
