To load originals into the ADF input tray

Before sending a fax, make sure that

is illuminated in green. If it is not,

press

to enter fax mode. The default setting is Copy mode.

Make sure the flatbed scanner is free of media.

Roll the paper and place it in the tray.

Put the top end of the original media stack into the ADF input tray, with the media
stack face up and the first page to be faxed on top of the stack.

Adjust the media guides to the document size.
