The 8-fold VT is treated as two independent
participants, to which two addresses are assigned.
Set the DIP switch bit 3 default setting to ON (both
participants active). Open the screw cap on the
upper side of the module. This makes the 4-fold DIP
switch S1 accessible to switch the participant on the
AS-i bus. Slave 2 can be separated from the bus via
the S1 bit 3 DIP switch. Slave 1 can be addressed in
the OFF position. The second slave can finally be
addressed when the S1 bit 3 DIP switch is switched
back to ON.
Valve address assignment
Valves with one solenoid (14) or with two solenoids
(12 and 14) can be used. For mixed equipment, the
valves with 2 solenoids must be connected first,
beginning with valve position 1, and then the valves
with one solenoid. See tables 4 and 5. The maximum
number of valve solenoids per module (4 or 8)
should be observed.
