Telnet into the switch.

Enter the login and password to open the CLI.

*Note:

The default login and password is “root”.

Type enable (en) to enter Priv mode.

Type configure to enter configure mode.

Type

setup

at the configure mode prompt. You can configure

the Ethernet serial port by responding to the displayed prompts.

7.

Download the new software into both APP1and APP2 of the

CPU module in slot 1.
