Installing the Modules
To install modules into the switch chassis:
1. Carefully remove each module from its shipping carton.
Leave the module wrapped in its antistatic bag.
*Note: Refer to the "Preventing Electrostatic Discharge"
section earlier in this chapter and take the
appropriate antistatic precautions before removing
the module from the antistatic bag.
2. Carefully remove the module from the antistatic bag.

Open the Ejector Tabs (see Figure 2-6).

Insert the module into the chassis (Figure 2-6).
5. Push on the center of the module until it is fully seated into
the backplane (see Figure 2-7).
6. Close the ejector tabs.
