INSTRUCTIONS: REPLACING THE SHUTTER, SHUTTER GUIDES, SHUTTER
PROTECTORS AND SLIDING BANDS
Refer to Figure 31 on the following page.
1. Remove the left and right panels (See Section 10.1. ).
2. Hold the moving glass obstacle and manually disengage the locking mechanism (see item [2] on
Figure 14 ) to release the moving glass obstacle from the open position.
The moving glass obstacle must be held in place as it will come out on its own,
because of its weight, when it is manually unlocked.
In the case of an intermediate unit, SHUT DOWN the motors of the intermediate unit
and of the units on its left and right as all motors are independent.

To access the parts located inside the unit (see Figure 28 and Figure 29 ):
•
Manually pull the plinth or the obstacle in closed position.
•
Lock the crankshaft using a shim.
•
For an intermediate unit, which has 2 glass obstacles, lock the glass obstacle that is not being
replaced in the closed position (blocking the passageway).
4. Unscrew the ground cable [8] (see Figure 31 ).
5. Unscrew the screws [7] fastening the shutter guide assembly to the frame (4 screws for the SL90x;
8 screws for the SL91x).
6. Take the shutter guide assembly out of the frame by pulling upwards (take the shutter rod [12] out
of the shutter tube [13]).
7. Remove the shutter assembly [10-11-12] by sliding it towards item [9] (see Figure 31 ).
8. To separate the shutter [11] from the shutter rod [12], remove the screw [10].
9. To replace the shutter [11]:

Clean the shutter guide grooves.
