Warranty 

The unit comes with a 2-year warranty. 

 

If the unit is serviced by an Aussie Traveller appointed air-condition dealer or service center, 
the warranty can be extended from 2 to 4 years.  This extended warranty period of an additional 
2 years is conditional upon the following:

The extended warranty covers parts and labor cost for repair, but excludes any transport or 
shipping costs.  

 

The extended warranty is only applicable, in the event: 

1.  The unit has been subject to what 

can be described as “normal use”. 

2.  The unit 

has been cleaned, serviced and maintained after “normal use” standards. 

3.  The unit has been correctly installed according to the installation manual. 
4.  The unit has not been damaged or exposed to any abnormal use. 
5.  The unit has been serviced by an Aussie Traveller appointed air-condition dealer or service 

center  after  1  and  3  years  from  its  first  installation  date.  The  cost  of  the  service,  as 
described in point 6, is paid for by the user. 

6.  Service plan: 

a. 

Remove top cover and clean for any dirt and dust. 

b. 

Check the fan and compressor is running normally. 

c. 

Remove the inside plenum. 

d. 

Clean filters in plenum. 

e. 

Tighten the 4pcs mounting bolts to correct torque (12 to 14 Nm) 

f. 

Check for any leakage. 

g. 

Check cables and power supply. 

h. 

Run the unit for 20 minutes on cooling and then heat function to check for any 
abnormal noise or functionality. 

i. 

Stamp, date and sign the service book (last page of the installation manual) with 
the name of the appointed air-condition dealer or service center performing the 
service.  The name of the person signing on behalf of the Service Centre is to 
be clearly shown. 

7.  The service book on following page has been correctly completed.
