Starting the Heater—Display Panel 
If the remote control is inoperable due to being damaged or having dead batteries, the Heater 
display panel may be used to operate the fireplace instead. 

 
1.  To operate the fireplace manually, press the “mode select” button on the display panel 

until a number appears in the “Flame Level” location on the display panel. The fireplace

Fireplace Operation Sequence 
 
1.  When the main power switch is turned on, the red and green control board LED’s will 

begin to flash alternately while the remote receiver searches for the remote transmitters 
signal.

Note: When operating the fireplace manually from the display panel, only basic operations are available: On, 
Off and flame level adjustment 

Note: The start up sequence takes approximately 1 minute,  15 seconds to complete.

2.  Use the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons on the right of buttons on the right of the display       
      panel to adjust the desired flame level.
