The  3-speed  main  convection  fan  will  cut  in  automatically  approximately  3  to  5  minutes  after  the 
heater  has  warmed  up.  Note:  The  3-speed  main  convection  fan  is  automatically  
controlled and will operate on three preset speeds. Depending on your heat setting and the surround-
ing ambient temperature. 
The main convection fan will automatically adjust its speed in line with your heat setting. 
 
On changing your heat setting  there will be a delay on the operating speed of the fan until the firebox 
has  reduced sufficient temperature for the fan to change speed. 

 

FAN OPERATION 

HEATER SHUT DOWN  

Note: The main convection fan in the heater will be operating on and off for up to approxi-
mately 45 minutes or more. intermittently until the firebox has been cooled down sufficiently 
for the main fan to stop operating. 

 

 

WARNING: DO NOT CUT MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY TO THE HEATER AFTER THE 

HEATER HAS BEEN SWITCHED OFF TO STOP MAIN FAN OPERARTING. THIS WILL 

CAUSE AN OVERHEATING SITUATION IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER

 

RESULTING IN 

DAMAGE TO THE PLASTIC COMPONENTS USED.

 

THE MAIN FAN WILL STOP 

OPERATING

 

AUTOMATICALLY AFTER THE HEATER HAS COOLED DOWN

.

 

Note: 

The time, date and room temperature will still be displayed on the remote display, but only 

weekly program-settings  will be changeable.

 

Turning the Fireplace Off - Remote 

When operating the fireplace using the remote, the fireplace can be shut down by  
turning the thermostat temperature down (when in thermostatic mode) or by pressing the power  
button on the re- mote. When the temperature setting is adjusted to turn off the fireplace, the flame 
level will be gradually adjusted down until the fireplace turns off. When the remote power button is 
used, a single push will place the fireplace into Standby Mode and the remote will display the

Holding down the power button until the backlight turns off will also turn off the remote and the fireplace.

 

 
 
 
 
 
The burner will instantly go off, but the circulating fan will continue to operate until the fireplace 
cools off. To turn the remote and fireplace back on, hold the power button down until the remote’s 
display panel backlight turns on again. 
 
Turning the Fireplace Off - Display Panel 
To turn the fireplace off from the display panel, press the “Mode Select” button on the fireplace dis-
play panel until the panel turns.
