If the reception of the radio signal continues to be interrupted,
you can turn on / off the automatic radio time receive function
manually.
Press and hold down the
MODE

and
+ / MEM

button for
about 3 seconds. WWVB is shown in the LC display, the automatic
radio time receive function is turned off. Now you can set the time
and date manually (see
Changing basic settings
).

about 3 seconds again. WWVB disappears, the automatic radio
time receive function is turned on. The clock will start the reception
of the radio time in the early morning.
Activating reception from the
outdoor sensor
The outdoor sensor will transmit a signal about twice a minute,
which is automatically received by the main station. However, you
may also manually activate reception of the signal. To do so, press
and hold the
– / CH
button

for three seconds until the channel
symbol
flashes. When a signal is received the symbol anima-
tion will disappear and the transmitted temperature and humidity
will appear in the display.
Backlight
Press
SNOOZE / LIGHT
button

. The backlight will light
up for 10 seconds. With the mains adapter plugged in there
are 3 backlight levels.
