Connecting a Door Bell Button

Requirements:

•

Installation cable (e. g. J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.6) with the following character-
istics:

–

At least five wires (for four door bell buttons)

–

Unscreened; however: screened for unfavourable conditions, for
example, near a strong transmitter or an electrical power line

1. Lay the line.

2. Connect the

Warning:

Power surges, which can occur during electrical

storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks or damage
or destroy the PBX.

•

Do not open an already connected PBX during an electrical
storm. Also avoid disconnecting and connecting electrical
lines during an electrical storm.
