Selecting the Base Station

Engli

Selecting the Base Station

If a handset is registered with several base stations, you can specify the base station to be used.

Requirements:
– Handset is registered with more than one base station

Press the softkey under Menu.

Using your navigation keys, navigate to the Settings option and press the softkey under
OK.

Using your navigation keys (up/down), navigate to the Registration setting and press the
softkey under OK.

Using your navigation keys (up/down), navigate to the Select Base setting and press the
softkey under OK.

Using your navigation keys (left/right), navigate to the option you want to change
(Automatic or Base 1-4) and press the softkey under OK.

Note: When you select

Automatic

, the handset will automatically search for the

next available base station if it loses contact to the current base station.
