Caution: Please observe the following safety instructions when assembling, con-
necting, and operating the devices.
• Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
• The device described in this instruction is only suited for the specified purpo-
se. If you are not sure what the intended use of the product is, please contact
your vendor.
• Be sure to follow the relevant regulations when handling 230 V system vol-
tage and devices attached to the mains.
• Do not use the telephone in environments which are prone to explosions
(e.g. paint shops, filling stations, etc.).
• Medical devices may be interfered with by the radio signals emitted by the
telephone and their functions may be negatively affected. When using DECT
telephones in medical environments and institutions, make sure that you are
observing the valid regulations.
• Always have a professional carry out repairs immediately. Please contact
your dealer or the manufacturer directly.
• Moreover, observe the safety instructions in the commissioning and opera-
ting manuals for the handset.
Warning: Inappropriate use or incorrect replacement of the power plug can result
in a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or destroy or the device:
• For this reason, only use the power plugs delivered with the device: charging
unit handset: type number SSA-5W-05 EU 060060F, SSA-5AP-09 EU
060060, or S004LV0600060
Repeater: type number SNG 26-a 60020005)
• Make sure it is inserted firmly and securely into the power socket. Wobbly
connectors or cable sockets pose a fire risk.
• Do not remove the cable from the power plug by pulling on the cable. If you
would like to disconnect the power supply, pull the power plug itself.
• If the power plug is damaged, first unscrew the fuse for the power supply be-
fore pulling out the power plug.
