LOCAL-DISTANT SWITCH
This two position switch is incorporated to allow maxi-
mum reception in both weak and strong FM signal areas.
When tuned to a weak (distant) station, push the switch
in. This will allow maximum signal to the receiver. When
in an extremely strong signal area (local), release the
switch. This will eliminate all weak signals and suppress
overly strong signals so as to avoid overloading the
receiver input. When moving out of a strong signal area,
return the switch to the "distant" position.
Note: The Local-Distant switch only affects FM signals.
