Storing Telephone numbers on private exchanges 

With some private exchanges, there is a short pause between the code for the 
outside line and the dialling tone. When dialling from the telephone, this pause 
can be stored along with the number so that the following digits are not dialled 
too quickly. When storing, simply press the 

 button before the actual 

number. The insertion of a pause will be shown by a “-“in the display. When 
dialling using the phone book, a pause will then be inserted automatically 
following the exchange code
