functions
All further programming functions can be accessed via a user-friendly menu. Here is
a short general guide to finding your way about the menu.
Programming is started with the
button.
You can find the required menu with the
(
1
) and
(
3
) buttons. The 5
available menus are indicated by symbols:
= Answering machine settings
= Setting up ringing tones and adjusting the ringer volume
= Logging on handsets (see Chapter 10)
= Further programming functions
= Receiver volume adjustment
The flashing menu is opened with the
button.
Where you are in the menu and how many functions there are available in the
menu are shown by the first two numbers: 1/5 = this menu has five functions and
you are in the first function.
Using the buttons
(
1
) and
(
3
) you can again select the required function
and then confirm with the
button.
The values can be changed using the number pad or with the
(
1
) and
(
3
) buttons.
Each time a confirmation is given with the
button you move on to the next
function in the menu.
You can exit programming with the
button.
Any save process is automatically cancelled if no entry is made within 20 seconds.
