A. If your call is answered after 3 rings, there are messages on your answering
machine and you can continue as described under 8.5.3.

If no messages have been recorded, your call will not be answered after 3
rings. Put the receiver down directly after the third ring, as your answering
machine will switch on as normal after the fifth ring. In this way, you can save
call charges.
8.5.3 Remote
access

Call your own telephone number and press the

button while your greeting
message is playing.

Then enter your personal PIN code by pressing the appropriate numbers on
the number pad of the remote control or telephone. Entry of the correct code
will be confirmed with a signal tone.

The answering machine will now tell you how many calls have been recorded
and will start playing back the messages directly.

You can use the following additional buttons during playback:

Delete current message

At the end of the messages you will hear two signal tones.
If you want to listen to the messages again, press

.
If you want to switch the answering machine off, press
9
.
The pause at the end of the messages must not exceed 30 seconds as,
otherwise, the connection will be cut off automatically.

Terminate the phone call.
