3.4.5.12.2 Configuring Hunt Group Settings

The 'Hunt Group Settings' page allows you to configure up to 24 Hunt Groups. These Hunt
Groups can be assigned ID's between 1 and 99. The device's channels can be conveniently
assigned to these Hunt Groups in the 'Trunk Group Table' page (refer to “Configuring the
Trunk Group Table” on page

The 'Hunt Group Settings' page is also used to select the method for which IP-to-Tel calls
are assigned to channels within each Hunt Group. If no method is selected (for a specific
Hunt Group), the setting of the global parameter ChannelSelectMode applies. In addition,
this page defines the method for registering Hunt Groups to selected Serving IP Group IDs
(if defined).

You can also configure the Hunt Group Settings table using the

Open the 'Hunt Group Settings' page (

Configuration

From the 'Routing Index' drop-down list, select the range of entries that you want to
edit (up to 24 entries can be configured).

Configure the Hunt Group according to the table below.

Submit

button to save your changes.

An example is shown below of a REGISTER message for registering endpoint "101" using registration
Per Endpoint mode. The "SipGroupName" in the request URI is taken from the IP Group table.
