Installaton

IDE1: Primary IDE Connector (5)

An IDE drve rbbon cable has two connectors to support two IDE devces. If 

a rbbon cable connects to two IDE drves at the same tme, one of them has 

to be configured as Master and the other has to be configured as Slave by 

settng the drve select jumpers on the drve.

Consult the documentaton that came wth your IDE drve for detals on 

jumper locatons and settngs. You must orent the cable connector so that 

the pn  (color) edge of the cable corresponds to pn  of the IDE connector.
