2.3.2 

Auth Server Setting 

In  addition  to  the  local  authentication,  the  switch  can  be  configured  to  request  for  authentication  through  a 
centralized  RADIUS  or  TACACS

+ 

server  when  the  local  authentication  fails

. 

Figure  2.21  shows  the  setting 

parameters  for  authentication  server  while  Table  2.3  summarizes  the  authentication  server  settings.  For  the 
RADIUS and  comparison, please refer to Table 2.4 so that you can choose the solution that best suits 
your needs
