Configuring with a Web Browser
Chapter 2 explains how to access the industrial managed switchfor the first time
.
There are three ways to configure
this Ethernet Switch
:
1. Web browser
2. Telnet console
3. Serial console
The web browser and the telnet console methods allow users to access the switch over the Internet or the Ethernet
LAN, while the serial console method requires a serial cable connection between the consoleand the switch
.
There
are only a few differences among these three methods

Users are recommended to use the web browser method
to configure the system because of its user
