Accepting / rejecting a waiting call
You are conducting an external call.
A second, external participant is calling you. You hear the “call waiting tone”.
Press
[Option]
and choose from the following options:
-
[Accept / Hold]
: Accept a waiting call; put the current call on hold.
-
[Accept / End]
: Accept a waiting call; end the current call.
-
[Rejecting]
: Reject a waiting call; continue the current call.
Please note
: If you want to end the first call and then accept the waiting call, you have a
few seconds in which to do so (depending on the telephone exchange). Press the
End
Call key
. Your telephone will then ring and you can accept the “waiting” call.
The “waiting caller” will hear the ringing tone for up to 30 seconds (depending on the
telephone exchange). If you do not then accept the call, he will hear the busy tone.
