The Sensor head should be mounted so that it is oriented on the centerline of the return duct with the impeller screen
DOWNSTREAM of the ambient airflow, i.e., facing the filter, if present, or the AHU itself.

INSTALLATION
The Sensor Array is housed in a doubly insulated hi-impact plastic enclosure which is placed in the duct work or AHU. If placed in
the duct, a 3” × 8” (8 cm × 20.5 cm) rectangular cut-out is made in a typical sheet-metal return approximately 3-4 feet (1.0 – 1.2 m)
downstream from the return filter (if existing). It is recommended, but not required, that the cut-out is usually made in the bottom
of the duct for access/ wiring/ service.
