8.3 Check for wear
8.3.1 Procedures
n
Components on the track frames that show wear of 100% must be replaced by new
components.
n
Regular and accurate measuring is required in order to establish the extent of the wear
and when replacement is necessary.
n
The components must be thoroughly cleaned for measuring.
n
Measuring must take place at several points. The degree of wear is determined by the
maximum value, not the average value.
8.3.2 Check for wear on the track rollers
Check the wear by measuring the dimensions (A) and (B).
