KVM over IP Matrix System User Manual

Transmitter

Click

Transmitter

in the

System Status

panel

open the settings. On this page

you can add, delete and configure

Transmitters

(physical transmitters),

Virtual

Transmitters

(multi-source) and

Transmitter Groups

(multi-video source). The

KVM over IP Matrix Manager automatically adds Transmitters connected to
the local area network with a valid IP address.

The meanings of the icons and headings on the page are straightforward and let
you view and configure Transmitters.



Active

refers to a Transmitter connection that is online and in use.



Standby

refers to a Transmitter connection that is online.



Offline

refers to a Transmitter connection that is offline.



Use this drop-down menu to filter Transmitters by

location. Use Locations to limit the Transmitters seen on the page.



Click to add a new

Location



Select a Transmitter and click the

Move to

icon to add

devices to a Location.



Select a Location from the drop-down menu and click this

icon to delete it.
