Chapter 11

AP Operation

Overview

In some cases, the Administrator may not want the KN9008 / KN9016 to be
available via browser access. AP versions of the Windows Client and the Java
Client are provided to enable direct access of the KN9008 / KN9016 without
having to go through a browser.

The programs are initially downloaded from the browser page. After they have
been downloaded by the Users, the Administrator can disable browser access
(see

The Windows Client

Installation

To install the Windows Client on your computer, do the following:

1. Run the program WinClient.exe on the software CD that came with your

KN9008 / KN9016 package.

2. Follow along with the installation dialog boxes.

3. When the installation completes, an icon –

KN9008iClient

iClient

– is placed on your desktop and a program entry is made in the

Windows

Start
